	How works JDSCAN ?

JDSCAN : Command to set and run a SCAN on CL* and RPG* applications

JDSCAN means literally , the contraction between "JOBD" and "SCAN".
This Scan is running, as a priority, on RPG* and CL* Compiled Objects,
according to a specific pre-defined Library list called « JOBD ».

On-demand, a Scan of program Sources can also run in addition , in order
to collect Cross references by Database Fields : In that case ,
a pre-defined Library list of program Sources must also be pre-defined.

Here, « JOBD » means a library list of compiled Objects (and optionaly
of program Sources) , that you define yourself , and not necessary a
pre existing JOBD in your OS400 system.

You can run a scan on-demand with the AS400 command JDSCAN,
or plan /schedule it periodically at night with a global batch SCAN.

JDSCAN creates its own DataBase Cross References, that you can
subsequently, instantly consult with the visualization tool JDSEE.
